			<description>to white guy
because no one runs against him.
the town board spends 99% of its time on matters involving unincorporated greenburgh so that basically precludes anyone from the villages running for supervisor. ms berger of dobbs ferry tried a few years ago and was trounced.

outside of edgemont, unincorporated greenburgh is fairly balkanized and essentially consists of 19 or so &quot;neighborhoods&quot; that have little to do with each other and are not unified by either status of being a village or a stellar school system as is found in edgemont and the river villages like hastings and ardsley.

the case against feiner and his enablers like juettner and sheehan is strong but the nature of greenburgh itself (villages vs. unincorporated, lack of political cohesion, the very fact that no one outside of ken jones (a town board member who also walks and talks the feiner line) has a greenburgh post office address) makes it very difficult for a candidate to emerge who might appeal to all of these different interests. Feiner has found success by pandering to each little interest group (such as the mayfair knollwood section of greenburgh where he shut down the low income housing site (and illegally sent money to its school district) or in fairview where he keeps the community center running) while pursuing a village first policy (where most of the votes are) all to the detriment of the unincorporated areas which will have to pay for the fortress bible fiasco because it arises out of a zoning and planning decsion of the unincorporated area.

so unless there is a candidate who can truly represent everyone in the town on an equitable basis, feiner is the supervisor for life unless he is removed by court order.

<description>Isn't it curious that only the Edgemont portion of Greenburgh is onto this guy? With some exceptions, no one else in Greenburgh seems to care about what goes on; some are getting fat off of his largesse and the rest are asleep.

The really scary thought is that the current issues may only be the tip of the proverbial iceberg (how about the recent admissions about the water district).

<description>the ECC should also be calling for term limits
mr feiner and ms juettner have been in office for 2 decades yet the longer they stay in office the worse they perform.
Further the ECC should be calling for the creation of representative districts in the town as opposed to election of town council members at large.

None of the members of the town board are from Edgemont or live anywhere near Edgemont

Of course, the other alternative is incorporation but support for that approach has not not been well received.
