Write the essay yourself! Use "help" to edit for the stupid mistakes that spell check doesn't pick up. My 2 children, currently attending top tier universities, wrote their essays about raking leaves and running down a rural road. They were written in their "natural voices" because those were the only ones involved in the process. Yes, it took them multiple drafts, new topics, and many weeks, but they accomplished the task independently. Having someone help you craft the "perfect essay" may get you into whatever school your parents think you should attend, but if you can't independently write the essay that gets you admitted into ABC University, how are you going to succeed once you get there?
