(Update June 1) Police officers located 15 year-old Pierce Crowley arond midnight on Wednesday May 30 in Washington Heights. They found him with a group of other teenagers, questioned him and returned him to his family. Missing since the previous Friday, May 25, he was unharmed, in good health and good spirits.
Family and volunteers have been handing out flyers, combing the area and sending out facebook alerts and emails about the boy. There is a reward for information leading to his safe return. Pierce is 5’10” tall, weighs 150 lbs. has blue eyes, light brown hair and wears braces. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a bright blue Florida Gators short sleeve t-shirt, and black sneakers with lime green trim. There is a reward for information leading to his safe return. RYE, N.Y. — A 15-year-old Westchester County boy missing since Friday has been found safe and sound.
According to the Journal News (http://tinyurl.com/7w4bzex ), Pierce Crowley was recognized by a NYPD officer walking with some youths in Washington Heights early Thursday morning.
New York City police contacted White Plains police who took the teenager to his parents.
The Rye resident went missing after leaving New York Hospital on Friday.
Hundreds of volunteers searched for the teen and posted fliers about his disappearance in Westchester, Connecticut, Manhattan and the Bronx.
Pierce attends Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle.
