E-mail Print PDF

4normandylaneNot everyone who moves to town buys a house in Scarsdale. Some decide to test the waters with a rental. An uncertain economy, decreasing bonuses and a tight market for rentals in Manhattan, make renting a home in the suburbs rather than buying a safer option for some. What’s on the market for rent? And what’s the monthly tab? Here are a few homes we found for rent:

Rent: $13,500 per month

20haddenroad20 Hadden Road: Majestic 1920's Cotswold Tudor, meticulously restored and updated for today's modern living! 6 bedrooms/4.1 baths. Sweeping circular driveway. Dramatic foyer welcomes visitors w/curved staircase, soaring ceilings, archways, intricate leaded glasswork and romantic Old World details. Expansive living room with fireplace, formal dining room and stunning eat-in-kitchen. Family room overlooks pool & gardens. Rent: $9,500 per month

7OverhillRoad7 Overhill Road: This four bedroom home, is the very essence of Scarsdale Village. Walk to Metro North and village shopping and eateries. A very special house for a hard to please tenant.

Although we have beautiful grand homes for rent we also have more modest homes to rent for families from Manhattan or Europe. The British seem to love Scarsdale as I do!!!
